I Dream

Tired and weary

My thoughts are not my own

I sag and droop as oblivion takes over

No sound, music or vibration can bother

As I dream of daisies and apple blossoms and matrimony

He tugs and pull

I scream and bite

When he enters my dreams at midnight

I long to swim beneath the starry skies

But my dreams refuse the journey

He enters again and I push him away

This man unknown

Persistent be he who respects not my bounds

I flit, I fly
Like a bird I sour

Until in my dreams he is no more
